Orthodox Christian Prison Ministry Advocates This is a virtual event that can be attended worldwide

The OCPM Advocates is an outreach team of people committed to educating and increasing awareness of Orthodox Christian Prison Ministry in his or her church. We have Advocates established in churches of all sizes across the country, and we can tailor our offerings to the specific needs of your community. As a team, all OCPM Advocates have three clear commitments:

  • Maintain Connection: Keep an open line of communication between OCPM and your church so we can better support one another in serving those incarcerated.
  • Prison Ministry Awareness Sunday (PMAS): Ensure your church participates in OCPM’s annual day of recognition, Prison Ministry Awareness Sunday (PMAS), near the feast of St. Silas in late July.
  • Lead One Initiative: Complete at least one Advocate Initiative per year to engage your church community.
